Posture Correction

We provide a wide range of professional services to meet your needs.

Posture Correction

Whether you sit slumped at your desk, walk hunched over or constantly look down at your smartphone or other device, your posture can suffer. Poor posture can become habitual and result in stress on certain muscles and joints.

Arthritis can worsen and you can experience a decrease in circulation. Poor posture also can leave you feeling tired and moody. Back and neck pain are also common in those with poor posture. That’s why we work to help correct our patients’ bad posture.

What Is Good Posture and What to Expect?

When an individual is standing straight, the view from the front or back should reveal a spine that is aligned from the top of the head through the pelvis down to the bottom of the feet. The spine should not be curved to the left or right. The side view should show a spine with natural curves in three places—at the neck, the mid-back, and the lower back.

To help you improve your posture, you’ll be given a thorough postural and spinal exam to get a better understanding of what’s contributing to your poor posture. We’ll also take a detailed health history so we can learn about your lifestyle and health habits.

Dr. Andrew Callister (Chiropractor) will take photos of the spine and process them through special software. This assessment tool is highly effective and quick. After the evaluation is performed, a detailed three-page report will be generated.
